Human remains found at Palomar Mountain State Park

Human remains have been found at Palomar Mountain State Park Wednesday night, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. The discovery was reported at around 7:30 p.m. off South Grade Road, SDSO Lt. Hernandez told NBC 7. Since the remains were found when it was dark, detectives could not really determine the extent of the injuries. Detectives were at the scene Thursday investigating. It is also unclear if the remains are of a woman or a man. This is the same state park where Angelica Brophy , the missing mother from Oceanside, was last seen.
