Burgas District Prosecutor Blagovest Vangelov Nominated for SJC Elected Member from Prosecutors' Quota

Prosecutor Blagovest Vangelov from the Burgas District Prosecution Office has been nominated for election as a member of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) from the prosecutors' quota, the SJC said on its website. Vangelov was nominated by colleagues from the Burgas Appellate Prosecution Office, the Burgas District Prosecution Office and the Burgas Regional Prosecution Office, who cited his moral, ethical, professional and personal qualities. They said that, with his high level of professionalism and integrity, he would defend the interests of magistrates, staff and the judicial system as an SJC member. Prosecutor Vangelov has more than 20 years of legal experience, including 14 years in Bulgaria's prosecution service, the SJC said.
