Quiet start to weekend, then flash flooding risk returns to Philly region
nbcphiladelphia.com · 7h

We’re in for a beautiful Saturday in the Philadelphia region with slightly lower humidity, sunshine and highs in the mid-80s. Saturday will be the better of the two weekend days by far. On Sunday, clouds will be in place for the morning, then, heavy rain and thunderstorms likely for the afternoon into the evening. The heaviest rainfall, which could cause flooding, appears to be from Philly to points South with one to three inches of rain is possible in a short time. Highs Sunday will be in the lower 80’s. Monday, starts with some showers, then some breaks of sun for the afternoon and highs back in the upper 80’s. Then we’re in for sunny skies Tuesday and seasonable warmth with highs in the mid-80s. Wednesday will be mostly sunny, warmer, and more humid with highs in the upper 80s. Then we could see more storms on Thursday as well as hotter temperatures with highs around 90. A storm chance is back for Thursday, and so is the heat. Highs around 90. Get the latest weather updates by downl
