LOCAL ELECTIONS 2026 OP-ED: The Coalitions Bill has stalled, and voters are going into elections blind

It’s almost impossible for the Coalitions Bill to be passed before the November elections. The voters’ best hope for now is that a few incremental, stopgap changes and guidelines might start helping to build focused and effective local government, especially when coalitions must be formed.
