Quilt quest: How to discover Clark County’s barn quilts

In 2001, an Ohio woman named Donna Sue Groves honored her late mother’s love of quilting by painting a quilt on the side of her barn. In doing so, she launched a modern folk art movement. Others made their own “barn quilts” and Groves partnered with Ohio Arts Council to create a “barn quilt trail” throughout her county.
