State police gather evidence in misconduct probe of former Trenton employee

New Jersey State Police gathered evidence at Trenton City Hall Tuesday morning as part of an investigation into suspected misconduct by a former employee, according to city officials. Officials with the City of Trenton issued a statement about the ongoing investigation following reports of police activity at City Hall around 10:30 a.m. According to officials, the City referred the case to the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office approximately two years ago. “The City is fully cooperating with the investigation as it progresses,” the City wrote in a statement.
