A man accused of being under the influence during an alleged high-speed crash in Miami back in April that left another driver dead has been arrested, authorities said. Maykel Mulet-Sanchez, 28, was arrested Monday on charges of DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide in a reckless manner, Miami-Dade jail records showed. Miami Police responded to the crash at the intersection of 60th Avenue and W. Flagler Street back on April 18. According to an arrest report, Mulet-Sanchez was driving a Hyundai Sonata and was speeding as he approached the intersection and collided with a Honda Accord. After the impact the Sonata went onto a sidewalk and through some bushes before hitting the wall of a nearby apartment complex, the report said. The driver of the Accord was hospitalized and later died from their injuries.
