PM Radev Highlights Bulgaria’s Potential as Regional Centre for Innovative Medicine

Bulgaria has the potential to establish itself as a regional center for innovative medicine, which not only implements, but also participates in the creation of modern medical technologies, said Prime Minister Rumen Radev during a Council of Ministers meeting with representatives in the sector of innovative health technologies, the government press service reported on Tuesday. The meeting was also attended by Health Minister Katya Ivkova. Possibilities for the establishment of a robotic orthopedics centre were discussed. If established, the centre will assist in the development of surgical methods for the treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
