What new documents reveal about Philadelphia infant's injuries, parents' arrests

A 5-week-old girl suffered skull fractures and other broken bones, injuries prosecutors allege were inflicted by her parents , according to court documents obtained by the NBC10 Investigators. Philadelphia police arrested Tyrone Jones, 22, and Secret McCleve-Sar, 21, both of Philadelphia, on Sunday, Aug. 9. The arrests followed a manhunt for the couple after their infant was removed from the hospital on Friday, Aug. 7, without a medical release, police said. Court documents describe her injuries as “serious,” including fractures to her skull, orbital bone, ribs and ankles. The infant was first taken to Jefferson Hospital, where medical professionals recommended she be transferred to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, police said.
