Cargo theft in the US remains at a historic high, despite a 5% year-on-year decline in the second quarter, says supply chain intelligence specialist Overhaul. The company recorded 605 cargo theft incidents in Q2 26 – an average of 202 incidents every month, or 6.71 thefts a day – up 5% quarter on quarter, but down 5% on Q2 25.
