Former Bucks County farm owner pleads guilty to animal cruelty charges

A woman who fled to Belize after abandoning over 100 animals at a Bucks County farm , leaving them to starve and allowing several to die, has pleaded guilty to multiple charges of animal cruelty. Abigail Tuttle O’Keeffe, 55, the former owner of Narrow Way Farm on Worthington Mill Road in Newtown, pleaded guilty last month to charges including neglect of animals involving veterinary care, neglect of animals involving sustenance or water, neglect of animals involving shelter or protection and other related offenses. O’Keeffe originally faced dozens of animal cruelty charges after officials said she abandoned more than 100 animals at the farm she operated in 2024. The Bucks County SPCA launched an animal cruelty investigation at the farm after receiving complaints that included photos and videos of sick animals and reports of animals dying.
