Drones Swarm German Patriot Repair Base

German security services are on high alert following multiple suspicious drone flights over a critical Bundeswehr base in Mechernich, North Rhine-Westphalia. The highly secure facility houses a massive underground logistics warehouse and serves as Europe’s sole “Patriot shipyard,” where the US-made air defense systems are repaired. Between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. local time on Aug. 7, security personnel and local police observed at least six drones flying over the base. Military police suspect the aircraft were Chinese-made Foxtech Fly-380 VTOL models, which have a 400km range.
