Caltrans to close eastbound lanes of Bay Bridge overnight through October

Caltrans will be blocking off four lanes of the Bay Bridge overnight, starting Monday and continuing through October. The closure is so that crews can paint the underside of the upper deck. It will affect eastbound traffic, from San Francisco to the East Bay. Typical closures will be from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. This is all part of a larger maintenance project that Caltrans will be working on for the next five years.
