Bulgarian Children Abroad Honoured in State Agency’s Literature, Art and Music Competitions

The Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad (EABA) presented awards on Friday to children and young people recognized in this 2026’s editions of its annual literature, art and folk singing competitions during a ceremony at the National Palace of Children in Sofia. Awards were presented to winners of the 30th Stefan Gechev Literary Competition, the 25th Bulgaria in My Dreams Drawing Competition and the 16th Lyubka Rondova Bulgarian Folk Song Competition. In a video address, EABA Executive Director Rayna Mandzhukova encouraged the young participants to continue creating and thanked parents, teachers, Bulgarian schools abroad and the agency’s partners for helping preserve Bulgarian language, culture and identity among children living outside the country.
