CC Urge Finance Minister to Confirm Before Court Procedural Actions Taken by State in Plovdiv Fair Case

Continue the Change (CC) MP and former economy minister Bogdan Bogdanov has urged Finance Minister Galab Donev to immediately confirm before the Supreme Court of Cassation the procedural actions taken so far in the case concerning the Plovdiv Fair, the press office of the party said. The call follows the Court's latest ruling, which states that the legal authority to represent the state in the case belongs to the Minister of Finance, not the Minister of Economy. The court has given the Finance Minister seven days to explicitly declare whether he confirms the procedural actions taken up to this point, CC added. In a letter sent to Prime Minister Rumen Radev, and the ministers of finance and economy Bogdanov warns that government inaction could lead to the permanent loss of state control over International Fair Plovdiv Plc.
