Blue Line is feeling beat due to excessive heat

The MBTA is advising Blue Line riders to expect longer rides, both because of the heat and because of the need to fix all the other problems that have been plaguing the line of late: Due to extreme heat, trains may operate at reduced speeds, resulting in longer wait times.
