A top federal agency has reportedly been begging Congress for more funding behind closed doors, per a new Axios report , as it desperately tries to stem the bleeding of cash caused by President Donald Trump's biggest disaster . In the report, Axios stated that the Pentagon has been angling for a "massive boost in military funds" in a future spending bill, beyond the current one that is being hashed out by Congress, which the outlet dubbed "Reconciliation 3.0." The ask is reportedly bigger than the $67 billion in funding allocated by the House version of the current reconciliation package, which the White House has backed.
