Not really, but Variety reports that’s what’s happening, with former Disney star Bella Thorne stating she’s set to star, write, and direct a new film set in the world of Korine’s 2012 film. Actually, Variety announced “ Spring Breakers 2 ” and its cast last May, with Thorne now providing the update that she’ll also helm the sequel in a new interview.
