PM Radev, UK Foreign Secretary Miliband Discuss Energy Cooperation and Security

Bulgaria's Prime Minister Rumen Radev held a phone conversation with UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband on Thursday, the Bulgarian government's press service said. The two sides discussed cooperation in the energy sector, regional and international security challenges, and partnership within NATO. In late July, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Investment and Industry Alexander Poulev said Bulgaria would again request an extension of the US derogation, adding that the deadline for renewing the licence is in October. Poulev also said that the UK authorities had submitted an official request for an extension of the derogation licence.
