A man accused of snatching jewelry from a woman in Brickell was chased down and held by a good Samaritan who witnessed the theft and was pepper-sprayed by the suspect, police said. The incident happened Thursday on Brickell Avenue when the victim said the suspect, later identified as 21-year-old Yagiz Dogan, approached her while attempting to buy her two bracelets, an arrest report said. She said she handed over the bracelets so he could look at them but he took off running toward South Miami Avenue, the report said. The victim ran after Dogan while yelling for help and that’s when the good Samaritan started chasing after him, the report said. As the good Samaritan caught up, Dogan pepper-sprayed him in the face, but the Samaritan was able to chase down the suspect and hold him, the report said. Video posted by Only in Dade showed the good Samaritan laying on top of the suspect as he waited for officers to arrive, who took him into custody. When officers searched Dogan’s bag they found
