A violent attack inside a home in Margate was captured on surveillance cameras and ended with the arrest of a man accused of trying to kill his own sister while she slept next to a 1-year-old baby. According to police, 36-year-old Ruben Altidore is the man who attacked his sister with a machete early Monday morning, causing multiple injuries. The footage shows the moment the victim manages to escape the house, badly wounded, and runs to a neighbor’s home to ask for help. The video captures the woman’s desperate screams, and minutes later, covered in blood, she knocks on the door of the home across from hers. She struggles to breathe and eventually sits on the ground while she waits for help. “The person who was hurt came and rang the doorbell, but we didn’t hear it.
