Iraq exported under a third of pre-war oil levels via Hormuz in July: monitor Iraq exported less than a third of its pre-war oil levels in July through the Strait of Hormuz, data from the maritime tracking firm Kpler showed on Tuesday. Before the US-Israeli war on Iran began, Iraq was exporting on average 105 million barrels per month through Hormuz, while only around 30 million barrels of Iraqi crude oil were able to pass through the waterway between 4 July and 4 August, according to vessels detected by Kpler.
