Rush hour on the Red Line this afternoon started with a train joining the choir eternal at Kendall/MIT. The MBTA reported at 6:30 p.m. the delays had stopped. But they started up again around 9:40, at least on the Braintree branch, when a train suddenly realized it was scare of heights as it crossed the Neponset between JFK/UMass and North Quincy and froze.
