Breaking down the Bears ’ physical Thursday training camp practice : What happened Quarterback Caleb Williams was much sharper than he was Tuesday, the last time the Bears held a padded practice. He finished Thursday’s session with a 4-yard touchdown pass to Luther Burden along the back of the end zone to cap a two-minute drill in which he went 6-for-6 for 60 yards. The offense started the drill at their own 35 with 1:41 to play and trailing by three. Earlier, Williams threw a 43-yard touchdown pass to Rome Odunze in which Odunze caught the pass, bounced off safety Cam Lewis and sprinted down the field. He threw an interception to cornerback Tyrique Stevenson, though Stevenson fumbled the ball away to the offense on his return run. Watching Bulls executive vice president of football operations Bryson Graham visited practice and chatted with Bears GM Ryan Poles. What’s next? The Bears have Friday off before returning for practice at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Halas Hall.
