Military Ceremony in Burgas Honors 147th Anniversary of Bulgarian Navy

A military ceremony and wreath-laying at the Sailor Monument in Burgas Sea Garden marked the 147th anniversary of the Bulgarian Navy on Wednesday. The event was attended by Bulgarian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Kiril Mihaylov, regional and municipal officials, representatives of the Interior Ministry and other institutions, members of the clergy, military personnel, and citizens. In his address, Mihaylov highlighted the Navy's vital role in Bulgaria's security and paid tribute to generations of Bulgarian sailors who have upheld the fleet's traditions and professionalism. The anniversary celebrations will continue with a concert by the Bulgarian Navy Representative Wind Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. in Burgas Sea Garden.
