Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Investments and Industry Alexander Poulev Wednesday visited Vidin, where he held meetings with Regional Governor Ognyan Asenov and Vidin Mayor Tsvetan Tsenkov. The discussions focused on key investment projects, infrastructure development and the economic revival of Northwestern Bulgaria, the press office of Poulev's Ministry said. Poulev said that the 2027 state budget would include all necessary instruments for regional growth, backed by clear financial justification and specific forms of support. He noted that Vidin's strategic location should be turned into a real economic advantage, with emphasis placed on transport connectivity and intermodal transport.
