Emil Tasev Quartet, Yavi to Perform at International Jazz Festival in Borovets

The Emil Tasev Quartet and singer Yavi will perform at the Dr. Emil Iliev International Jazz Festival in the Borovets mountain resort on Monday evening, the festival organizers said. The quartet will present its new album, Tesseract. The project features keyboardist Steve Hamilton, bassist Veselin Veselinov, drummer Emil Tasev, and saxophonist Vladimir Karparov, who is travelling from Berlin specifically for the concert. Yavi, a singer and producer, blends contemporary music with a jazz perspective. His work combines elements of pop, funk and electronic textures with a refined sense of rhythm, atmosphere and emotional expression, while integrating live performance with modern music production, the organizers added. He will perform with his band, comprising Adrian Nikolov (drums), Emilio Marholev (bass), Shterion Pilidov (guitar), and Samuel Eftimov (keyboards).
