The Water Supplies Department (WSD) said on Sunday that a fresh water supply pipe in Kwai Chung had developed a leak, affecting a nearby private housing estate. It received reports of the leak, that occurred on Ta Chuen Ping Street, in the morning. In a social media post, the department said the 200mm pipe is used to supply water to Po Sing Centre. It has provided bottled water and temporary water supply, including eight water tanks near the entrance of the private housing estate. The WSD added that it will strive to complete repairs by midnight and apologised for the inconvenience caused. Edited by Aaron Tam
