Economy Minister, Meiji President Discuss Completion of Joint Research and Development Laboratory by Year-End

Deputy Prime Minister and Economy, Investment and Industry Minister Alexander Poulev met with Japan’s food manufacturer Meiji Corporation President Bunjiro Yao, the Economy Ministry said on Thursday. During the meeting, Poulev said that a joint research and development laboratory between Bulgaria’s state-owned dairy company LB Bulgaricum and Meiji will be completed by the end of the year. Earlier on Thursday, Prime Minister Rumen Radev also said that the joint research and development laboratory will be completed by the end of the year during a meeting with Meiji representatives. The joint laboratory is expected to support scientific research, technology transfer and industrial cooperation between Bulgaria and Japan while deepening bilateral economic partnership.
