According to the forecast, widespread disruptive rainfall is expected across KwaZulu-Natal, with the eThekwini region among the areas expected to significantly be affected. The municipality warned that widespread showers and thundershowers are anticipated, which could pose a serious risk to lives, property and infrastructure. “The disruptive rainfall may result in flooding on settlements, roads, bridges, and low-lying areas.
