A recent article in The New York Times spells out, with evidence, how the Trump administration punished states that did not vote for him in the 2024 election. The article, “Trump administration admits canceling grants to states that did not vote for him,” provides direct evidence that federal officials admitted in court documents that they halted billions of dollars in funding for projects to states based solely on whether they backed President Donald Trump in the 2024 election. This is egregious and totally unacceptable, and should send a chill through the spine of every American.
