A PGW truck hit a man in Northeast Philly on Wednesday, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. The crash happened around 1 p.m. on July 29 along the 800 block of Adams Avenue when a Philadelphia Gas Works vehicle hit a man who was walking, police said. When first responders got to the scene, they took the man to a nearby hospital where he is listed in critical condition, officials explained. The driver of the PGW truck stayed at the scene, police reported. The Philadelphia Police Department’s Crash Investigation Division is investigating the crash.
